How to apply for membership

If you have enjoyed browsing our website and think you would like to join SDSC, this is what you should do:

  • Complete the form at the bottom of this page and press the SEND button
  • OR send an email to membership@SDSC.org.uk
  • OR call or text the membership secretary on 0786 787 4510
  • OR write to us at PO Box 1060, Guildford, GU1 9GT

You will then be contacted by the Membership Secretary, normally to arrange a series of three informal visits to the club, when you will meet some of the committee and other members. The first visit is free of charge.

Following these visits, your application will be formally considered by the committee, after which you may be invited to join the club.

Membership fees

The annual membership fee is £90 per adult.
Students, and Distant Members (who live far from the club who can only visit occasionally) pay a reduced fee of £40.
The membership year runs from 1st January to 31st December (the first year's fee is reduced for people joining part way through the year).
Members can obtain a key to the clubhouse for a £5 deposit.
