Most of the club's facilities are free to paid-up members and to visitors who have paid the day visit fee (currently £5 per adult per day). Charges for use of the sauna and lockers are set out below. Facilities and charges for overnight visits are detailed on the Visits page. SportsWe have two miniten courts and a boules (petanque) court. Both games have a keen following within the club and visitors are always welcome to join in. If you're not feeling that energetic, or the weather is less than perfect, the clubhouse has a pool/snooker table, darts board and other in-door diversions. Take your pick! SwimmingOur 11-metre outdoor pool is a focal point for the club. It is heated by solar panels - often to over 25 degrees C (77 F). Lovingly maintained by the members, it's always spotlessly clean and inviting! SaunaThe club has a 16-seater sauna built into the clubhouse.
This can be used by members at any time, but the monthly sauna evenings are particularly popular. ClubhouseWe have a spacious clubhouse thats ideal for the many social events enjoyed by club members. It's easily transformed from a comfortable lounge to a roomy dining hall or party space. Always cosy with a log-burning stove and central heating for those cooler evenings. And plenty of diversions including a super pool / snooker table. The large and comprehensively-equipped kitchen can be used to whip up anything from a cup of tea (make that 20!) to a three-course meal for umpteen - not to mention a goodly supply of ice-creams.Country air and sunshine!Only 25 miles from the heart of London, yet deep in peaceful countryside! Surrey has an ideal climate for naturism, being one of the warmest and driest counties in the UK, and less windy than down on the coast! The club's sunbathing lawns afford rural views of the Surrey Hills, and a scattering of Oak Trees provide areas of shade when needed. Beyond the pool is a wooded bank which bursts with bluebells and other wildflowers in Spring and early summer. LockersTo assist club members who do not have their own chalet on site, the club has made a number of lockers available for the
storage of personal paraphernalia such as sunbeds, picnic tables, miniten thugs and boules sets. |
